Role Description

Drive and execute in-country GTM strategy for MTDC business while supporting and working in close coordination with In-Country / APAC leadership team.

The position requires a fair understanding of the Data Centre ecosystem, its key drivers, technology trends and ensuring Commscope to be positioned as the market leader & key innovation partner for the network infrastructure.

An ideal candidate would be from a technology organisation selling into the Data Centre Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities and Goals
  • Drive Sales & visibility throughout key Multi-Tenant Data Centre Accounts in assigned territory by working jointly with Field sales, Technical and Support Teams.
  • Work closely with Commscope’s In-Country and APAC Leadership team to drive & execute the overall GTM strategy, Account plans and various regional / global marketing initiatives related to MTDC.
  • Interactions & drive coverage with the key MTDC ecosystem – Contractors, Consultants, Installers and System Integrators.
  • Represent Commscope and being part of customer forums and events on MTDCs.
  • Maintaining relationships with end users to understand corporate enterprise space requirements within the Multi-Tenant Data Centre and Global Accounts.
  • Maintaining and managing a healthy opportunity funnel on Dynamics 365 along with ensuring data integrity.
Qualifications/Education required
  • Degree level will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of at least One Local Language will be preferred.
Business Skills and Experience Requirement

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successful customer management, consistent track record of high performance and be capable to lead executive engagements (QBR’s, business alignment).

You will have strong interpersonal and initiation skills and a proven track record in building relationships. You will have the ability to deliver sales results through leadership, along with:
  • Extensive sales (5+ Years) , business development or account management experience gained within the Data Centre Infrastructure industry.
  • Knowledge of Data Centre Market, Technology Trends and buying behaviors.
  • Strong proven ability to bring new logos & increasing wallet share.
  • Proven ability to manage, grow and nurture large accounts and ensure team alignment.
  • Solution Selling skills and ability to create value proposition based on customer needs & pain points.
  • Knowledge about Wired and Wireless Network infrastructure solutions will be preferred.
Leadership, Aptitude and Attitude Required

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the following skills and abilities:

1. Strong Initiative and Self Starter: A go-getter attitude with hands-on approach & capable to lead executive engagements (Business alignment & reviews).

2. Teamwork & Stakeholder Management Skills: ability to manage a business plan execution across multiple stakeholders (internally and externally at vendor)

3. Communication Skills: Must be an excellent communicator – both written and oral. With excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to interface seamlessly with internal and external staff.

4. Travel: this job requires individual to travel within the country or territory assigned to attend regional meetings and customer specific events.
