Key job responsibilities
As Quality Assurance Engineer (System/Solution Testing), you will develop test cases, test strategy and automate test cases. Write scripts for internal build, test, deploy and monitoring processes. You will own end to end system integration testing automation for testing, pre-production staging environment. You will develop suitable test cases, execute and ensure quality build. You will build System Integration and Testing process, Test Automation. You will control versions and certify production releases for roll-out. You will interface with internal Amazon teams and external vendors for infrastructural needs, and own hardware inventory and related systems. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, detail oriented QA Automation Engineer who has demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-pace and complex software build & deploy environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in manual testing
· 4+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
· Experience in automation testing
· Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering
· In-depth knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python or Java and ability to automate test cases.
· Excellent QA aptitude and ability to drive process improvements
· Good knowledge of QA methodology and tools
· In-depth knowledge of OTT/Video streaming or Application and Web Application Testing.
· Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents
· Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data
· Good organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results
· Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress.
· Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, MacOS, cloud (AWS/Azure) environments and their development tools
· Working knowledge of CI/CD (DevOps) development and testing environment.
· Familiarity with hardware & Software development process and lifecycle
· Experience with EC2, Cloud-Pipeline, S3 and cloud services.
· Experienced to thrive in a complex software systems involving multi-platform development environment
· Ability to work both independently and being part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· In-depth knowledge of OTT/Video streaming or Application and Web Application Testing.
· Ability to Automate via script language using Python, Java
