Did you know that many of the products you buy on Amazon didn't exist before you ordered them? The Manufacturing On Demand team is recruiting experienced Software Engineers in Seattle.

We are looking for a talented and curious full-stack software developer with a background in cloud computing, device interfacing, machine learning, distributed systems or user experience.

You will showcase your technical skills in areas such as distributed systems; IoT development; algorithm design; machine learning; and much more. And you will contribute to the team's roadmap; and collaborate with a diverse group of industry-leading technical, operations and business partners to shape the future of our technology, providing the opportunity to learn from the best.

This software developer will help build a rock solid world-wide network of manufacturing centers operating 24/7 and always at peak performance. Join us as together we revolutionize the the availability of goods for Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
· 1+ years of experience in software development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Architecture skills, knowledge of design patterns, and strong fundamentals
· Experience in cloud computing, especially with AWS
· Experience working with Linux
· Familiar with best practices in building secure, modern web applications at scale, supporting multiple tenants
· Experience developing high-performance database applications
· Clear, professional communication skills able to contribute to team discussions, knowing when to contribute, when to listen, and when to ask questions
· You are the type of person that quickly wins the respect of peers, and jumps at the chance to share knowledge and mentor
