Opportunities at our two Johns Creek and Alpharetta clinic locations!

$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS. Paid out over a short period of time, offered to full time employees based on a few eligibility factors.

We are looking to fill our back office with friendly and personable staff for our back office teams.

Qualifications required: Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses, EMTs are all welcome to apply!

Scheduling is 8am-8pm. Full time is 3 days per week. There are weekends and occasional holidays involved in the schedule. Our schedule comes out on a monthly basis.

Some duties will include: drawing blood, administering injections, collecting samples for rapid testing, triage, assisting with procedures, etc. More details can be discussed during interview.

More about the position:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting (preferably urgent care or emergency room)
  • Must be proficient in venipuncture and injections
  • Must be well organized and able to multi-task seeing multiple patients at once in a fast-paced high volume environment
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy and physiology
  • Documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Must have a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
  • Effective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers and other colleagues. Ability to use tack and diplomacy appropriate to situation
  • Ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner
  • Must be able to be mobile and work various positions (standing, sitting, bending, walking) for extended periods of time
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment
  • Ability to participate in initial and ongoing training as required
  • Conduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleagues

  • Able to travel to other nearby locations if needed
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examination or treatments
  • Perform triage and obtain vital signs
  • Obtain and document patient history
  • Operate office medical equipment
  • Train & work in the Occupational Medicine Clinic, using current EMR system & abiding by the systems & protocols set forth by Piedmont Urgent Care
  • Understand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirements
  • Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
  • Responsible for quality assurance program for compliance with CLIA waived laboratory and patient result trackers.
  • Perform office procedures including all general administrative duties
  • Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions o Assure HIPAA and OSHA compliance
  • Routine Clinical Procedures o Administer medications and non-intravenous injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous & intradermal)
  • Perform aseptic procedures
  • Collect routine laboratory specimens including phlebotomy, urinalysis and oral swabs
  • Perform basic laboratory procedures
  • Ability to start an IV, placing a catheter, & splinting a plus
