Position Name: Project Engineering Manager

Industry: Manufacturing | Shift: 1st | Hours: 7AM – 4PM

Pay Scale: Negotiable (Depending on Experience)

Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager with experiences in identifying, reviewing and providing solutions to daily Manufacturing / Engineering operations. This candidate will work with Multi-Disciplinary Teams and Personnel to ensure all processes and goals are met and in accordance to Regulatory Compliance bodies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and approving TK QMS documents (e.g. Inspection Method Sheets, Quality Test Plans)
  • Developing material testing plans according to TK drawing, Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR), and TK QMS requirements
  • Interacting with quality department, supply chain department and supplier with regards to manufacturing methods, inspection methods, certification documents, etc.
  • Reviewing/approving supplier certifications, material and special processing to ensure compliance to TK requirements per the TK QMS requirements
  • Disposition of non-conforming materials in accordance with the TK QMS, including analyzing the non-conformance for fit, function, safety, and reliability, and communicating with quality, suppliers, and the FAA liaison as required.
  • Providing technical oversight/support for the inspection of FAA PMA hardware
  • Preparing and approving Design Changes in accordance with TK QMS for part drawings, tool drawings and specifications
  • Responding to field inquiries from customers and operators relating to TK FAA-PMA parts
  • Directing engineering support and oversight for COS related activities
  • Developing/Instituting continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving the quality of our product and improving customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline
  • At least 3-5 Years of Management / Senior Leadership Responsibilities
  • Process / Industrial Engineering experience is a plus
